THE ROLE OF TREFFINGER STRATEGY ON IRAQI INTERMEDIATE EFL PUPILS’ ACHIEVEMENTS

Treffinger Strategy is a framework that focuses on developing creativity and problem-solving skills in students. One of the main problems related to achievement identified by this model overemphasis standardized testing rote memorization. It designed help individuals develop their cognitive metacognitive abilities, enabling them become more effective problem solvers achievers. The aim study investigate how affects EFL secondary school students Iraq. study's null hypothesis there would be no statistically significant difference between experimental group, which taught technique, control traditional strategy, terms mean scores post-hoc exam. second premise means groups at posttest. A sample 60 randomly selected from 2022-2023 year Al-Dibis Secondary School for Girls Kirkuk as sample. divided into two equal groups. Group (A) represents group consisting (30) using Strategy. (B) also includes appropriately educated conventional method. Encouraging results are obtained data analysis, showing post-performance tests strategy strategy.
